How It All Started

I’ve always enjoyed helping others, and that passion eventually led me to accounting. I began my accounting journey in 2012, and from my very first accounting class, I knew I had found something I truly enjoyed. The numbers made sense, and I loved understanding how all the pieces of a business fit together.

I continued my education at Ensign College and Brigham Young University–Idaho, while gaining hands-on experience in a small accounting office. There, I discovered that I especially enjoyed working with small businesses and helping with taxes.

When I moved to Canada, a family friend encouraged me to start my own accounting business. That first bookkeeping firm was built around a simple goal: help small business owners understand and organize their finances.

Over the years, that goal has grown. I’ve learned that business owners need more than someone who simply records transactions or prepares a tax return. They need someone who will answer their questions, explain the numbers, and help them make confident decisions.

Outside of accounting, I'm a wife, a mom, and someone who genuinely loves to learn. I enjoy discovering new technology, improving systems, solving problems, and finding better ways to help my clients.
